My Lord and my God, How many times have I searched for happiness in countless things, believing that peace could be found in what I possess or accomplish, yet my heart found true satisfaction only in You.


You are my sufficiency when people disappoint me.


You are my strength when my soul grows weary.


You are my light when darkness surrounds me.


Teach me to trust You more than I trust myself, and to cling to You more than to the passing things of this world.


If I lose what I love, may I never lose Your presence.


If doors close before me, may the door of Your mercy remain forever open.


Lord Jesus, You are the treasure that never fades, the friend who never changes, and the shepherd who never abandons His flock.


Fill my heart with Your peace and free me from every fear and anxiety, that I may rest in Your love and live confidently in Your providence.


Do not allow my heart to drift away from You. 


Rather, help me seek You always and find in You more than this world could ever offer.


For You are my sufficiency, my hope, my richness, my joy, and my peace.


To You be glory, thanksgiving, and love forever
