Lord Jesus Christ, on this feast of Saint John the Evangelist, your beloved disciple, we thank You for revealing through him the depth of Your love and the glory of Your Word
Through his intercession, open our hearts to Your living Gospel, so that we may walk in truth and bear witness to the light in this world of darkness
Grant us the grace to remain steadfast in Your love, faithful to You in every trial, just as John stood beneath the Cross as a witness to Your fidelity
