O Mary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, tonight, we entrust to you our hearts — our weariness, our wounds, and our hopes

Look upon us with your maternal eyes and cover us with your holy mantle, so that no evil may touch us, and our steps may not go astray

Teach us to trust in God’s will, as you did, and to remain firm in faith amidst the storms of life

Make our hearts a dwelling place for your Son Jesus, and our lives a living witness of Heaven’s love on earth

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us now and at the hour of our death
