Lord Jesus Christ, in this holy season of Lent i stand before You with a heart that longs for Your mercy


You know my weakness and You see my poverty, yet You also know my desire to return to You with a renewed heart


Lord, teach my heart to fast before my body, to turn away from all that is evil, and to open my soul to Your love


Grant me the grace of sincere repentance, wash my heart with the light of Your mercy, and lead me to walk in Your way with trust and peace


May this Lenten seasonbe a time of renewal, and a deeper closeness with You


To You be glory and thanksgiving forever
