Heavenly Father of mercy, i stand before you with a humble heart, confessing that many times I wander far from your ways and walk on paths that do not lead to your light
Yet You, O Lord, are the father who never grows tired of waiting
You see me while i am still far away and run to welcome me with Your mercy
Give me a heart that knows how to return, a spirit that repents sincerely, and the trust that Your love is greater than all my weakness and sin
Lord Jesus, teach me not to remain in the land of distance, but to rise and return to the father's house, where forgiveness, joy, and new life are found
Make me also rejoice whenever a soul comes back to you, so that my heart may be filled not with judgment but with mercy
To You be glory, o father, with your beloved Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, now and forever
