Lord Jesus Christ, you called the Twelve apostles from among ordinary men and made them lights in the world and witnesses to Your truth

Today, through their intercession, we ask You to awaken in us a spirit of mission, courage, and unwavering faith

Teach us to be Your apostles in our world: to carry Your love, to bear witness to Your resurrection, and to build peace where there is hatred

Strengthen our faith, unite Your Church, and fill the earth with the knowledge of You, as the waters cover the sea
