The Power of the Saving cross

upon the wood of Your Cross You conquered sin and death, and opened for us the way to resurrection and life

Grant me strength in my weakness, courage in my trials, and hope in the darkness of my days

Teach me to embrace my daily cross with trust, knowing that with You, its pain becomes grace and its wounds become glory

May the sign of Your Cross be my shield, my source of life, and my everlasting victory
