Lord of grace and mercy, we thank You on this feast of Saint Augustin, whom You made a witness of Your forgiveness and the power of Your love

As You turned his wandering into light, turn our darkness into hope, our weakness into strength, and our confusion into a straight path

Teach us to seek You sincerely, to find in You the fullness of truth, and to live for the glory of Your name, rejoicing in Your salvation
