Lord of Glory, on this feast of Saint Shmuni and her martyred sons, we bow in reverence before their great courage, for they carried the cross of faith with joy and strength, and bore witness to Your holy name even unto death
Grant us, Heavenly Father, a steadfast courage in every trial, and a faith unshaken by the fiercest storms
Teach us to place our trust in You alone, and to walk in the footsteps of these heroes, that we may receive with them the crown of eternal life
