Lord Almighty, through the intercession of Saint James the Cut-Up, i offer this prayer, asking for courage and steadfast faith in every circumstance of my life
You strengthened James to remain faithful to You
amid pain, trials, and persecution
Strengthen my heart as well, so I may never retreat before temptation, never bow before fear, and never abandon the truth - whatever the cost
Lord, teach me to love you with a sincere love, a love that overcomes weakness, carries Your light to others, and makes my life a living testimony to Your grace
Grant me, through the faith of James, a peace that no hardship can shake, and a strength that keeps me rooted in You until my final breath
