Lord Jesus Christ, today we come before You reflecting on the life of your servant and apostle, Saint Matthew, who heard Your call, left everything behind, and followed You with faith and joy
Grant us, O Lord, a heart ready to hear Your voice, and the courage to change our path toward Your Kingdom
Purify our thoughts, renew our vision, and plant within us a deep longing for Your Word, as Matthew lived and proclaimed in his holy Gospel
Through the intercession of Saint Matthew, bless our steps and guide our decisions
Make us faithful witnesses of Your mercy in this world
