My Lord and my God, I stand before You with a humble heart, placing my life in Your hands, with all my gifts, abilities, and dreams


I thank You for creating me with love and giving me a special place in Your heart



Lord, teach me to be who I am, and not to lose my true self by comparing my life with the lives of others 


Teach me to see myself through Your eyes and to discover the beauty You have placed within me, even when others fail to recognize it



Sometimes, Lord, I wish I had the gifts of others, that I could follow paths that are not mine, or become someone different


I forget that You did not create me without a purpose, and that I have a mission no one else can fulfill in my place



Remove from my heart every trace of envy, jealousy, and inadequacy


Free me from the desire to please everyone at the expense of what You desire for me



Jesus, never let me despise the small gifts I possess


Instead, teach me to use them faithfully and lovingly


A single word from me may comfort someone who is hurting, a smile may revive a tired heart, and a simple act may change someone's life



Teach me to find joy in what I do, to bring love into the smallest details of my daily life, and never to wait for extraordinary opportunities before I begin to give



Lord, grant me the grace to accept myself, to grow without losing my identity, to dream without despising my present circumstances, and to strive for something better without forgetting to thank You for what I already have



And whenever I feel that my gifts are too small, remind me that You can make something great out of very little, and turn even the simplest task into a song of love that glorifies Your name



Lord, I do not want to be a copy of anyone else


I want to become the person You dreamed of when You created me


Take my life into Your hands, shape it with Your grace, and make everything within me an instrument of Your love and a blessing to my brothers and sisters


For You are my Creator


You know me better than I know myself, and in Your love I find my worth, my identity, and my joy


I surrender myself to You, I trust in You, and I desire to live for Your glory
