Lord, Just as You called David from among the shepherds and made him a psalmist and a king after Your heart, teach us to praise You from our depths and surrender ourselves entirely to Your will
Grant us a pure heart like David’s—one that does not boast in victory nor despair in failure, but always returns to You with sincere repentance
Bless us with the spirit of the Psalms, so that our words may become songs of love for You, and our lives a true testimony to Your Word
O God of David, be our Shepherd, and sing through our lives a hymn of salvation
