O Jesus Christ, ascended King of glory, we lift up to you our hearts and souls, and we praise you, for you conquered death and opened for us the gates of eternal life


Lord, turn our thoughts toward heaven, and keep our hearts close to your presence, so that we may walk in this world with your light, your peace, and your hope


You ascended, yet you did not leave us alone, but remained with us always


Strengthen us in faith, and fill us with the power of the Holy Spirit,that we may become witnesses of your love everywhere



O King of glory, bless our families, our churches, and our nations


Let joy dwell in weary hearts, and let peace spread throughout the whole world
