Lord Jesus Christ, Source of true joy, i come before you with a heart that longs for your presence, for you are my treasure, my hope, and my happiness


Teach me not to seek joy in passing things, but in your everlasting love, in your unfailing promises, and in your presence that comforts the soul and fills it with peace


Lord of Joy, when trials surround me, remind me that you are with me


When my strength fails, be my support


When my heart is burdened, let your light scatter every darkness


Fill me with your Holy Spirit, that i may carry the joy of the Gospel to everyone i meet and become a witness to your goodness, mercy, and love


Grant me a grateful heart in every circumstance, eyes that recognize your countless blessings, and lips that continually praise you, for you are good and your mercy endures forever


May my joy in you remain steadfast, my hope in you remain firm, and my love for you burn brightly until i reach your heavenly Kingdom and praise you together with all the saints


For yours is the glory, honor, and worship, together with the father and the holy spirit, now and forever. Amen
