Lord of love and mercy, on the feast of St. Isaac the Syrian, we come before You asking for the gift of humility and silence

Teach us to see in prayer the fountain of life, and to enter into the depths of our hearts where we find You

Grant us to live with simplicity, to love our brothers and sisters with merciful hearts, and to witness to You more by deeds than by words

O Lord, make us children of hope, trusting in Your mercy and rejoicing in Your presence each day
