Lord Jesus Christ, on the feast of the Nativity of our Mother Mary, we stand before You with joyful and grateful hearts, thanking You for the great gift You gave to the world through Mary


Mary, whose “yes” to God became the beginning of a great path within the mystery of salvation, teach us to say “yes” to God, even when we do not understand everything He asks of us


Teach us to trust God more than we trust our own calculations, and to receive His will with a humble heart and a willing spirit


My Lord, do not let our “yes” be merely a word upon our lips, but make it a life we live, an obedience we practice, a faithfulness we keep, and a love we bear witness to each day


Mary, Mother of Christ and Mother of Hope, take our hands and lead us to your Son, for you never draw us to yourself, but always point us toward Jesus


Teach us to be silent when silence is faith, to listen when God speaks, to remain steadfast when trials grow stronger, to be humble when we succeed, and to remain hopeful when the waiting is long


Lord, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, purify our hearts from everything that draws us away from You

Give us a heart that loves You, a mind that seeks Your truth, and a will that desires Your purpose


When our paths become difficult, remind us of Mary’s yes


When we fear the unknown, remind us of her trust

And when we hesitate to follow You, remind us that one sincere “yes” can open doors to grace and salvation


Mary, on the feast of your Nativity, we ask your Son to make our hearts a dwelling place for His presence, and to teach us to say each day


Lord, let it be done to me according to Your word


May our “yes” to You, Lord, be a “yes” to faith, a “yes” to love, a “yes” to holiness, and a “yes” to serving others, until our entire life becomes a hymn of praise to Your name


To You be glory, Lord Jesus Christ, now and forever, and unto ages of ages
