Lord Jesus Christ, on the feast of Saint Anthony of Padua, we come before you with hearts longing for your presence and with the confidence of your children


We thank you for raising up saints in your Church who point us toward your glory and call souls to Your love


We thank you especially for Saint Anthony, who made your word a light for his path and your love the treasure of his heart


Good and gracious Lord, teach us to place you above all things, to seek your face at every moment, and to carry your Gospel in our thoughts, words, and actions


Grant us purity of heart to behold you, humility of spirit to follow you, and fervent love to become witnesses of your presence among all people


Through the intercession of Saint Anthony, help us remain steadfast in faith, grow in holiness, and always seek what is pleasing to you


Make our hearts a dwelling place of your peace, our lips instruments of your praise, and our lives a continual hymn to your glory


For you are our hope, our joy, and our salvation, and to you be all glory, praise, and worship forever and ever
