Lord my God, lead my steps in this Great Fast, and draw me into the depths where the noise of the world grows silent and Your word begins to shine within me
Uproot every false desire, and plant in my heart a hunger for your face and a thirst for Your righteousness, so i may follow You without hesitation
Grant me a fast that pleases Your heart — not a display, but a life; not a performance, but repentance; that I may walk with you into the light of the Resurrection
