O God of the prophet Elisha, you called him from the field and made him a mighty prophet by Your power

Teach me to leave everything behind and follow Your call, just as he did with complete trust

Grant me, Lord, to always seek Your Holy Spirit, and to believe in Your power even in the most impossible situations

As Elisha parted the waters with Elijah’s cloak, part the way before me when all paths seem blocked

Bless me with eyes that see the armies of heaven, and a heart that listens to Your voice as Elisha did

Use my weakness to reveal Your strength, just as You used the humble prophet to show Your greatness

I believe today that You will work wonders in me and through me, just as You did with Your faithful servant Elisha
