We lift up to you the land of Lebanon and the land of Israel, with all their pain, fear, and heavy memories



Lord, stop the cycle of violence, and break the chain of hatred that stretches across generations



Touch with your mercy every wounded heart, wipe the tears of mothers, the fear of children, and the pain of the grieving



Enlighten the minds of leaders and decision-makers, that they may choose wisdom over conflict, and dialogue over weapons



Plant within hearts a new spirit, a spirit that allows reconciliation, overcomes fear, and seeks peace



Do not let the past close the doors of the future, but open new paths where there seems to be no way



Lord, make us also peacemakers, carrying kindness in our words, love in our hearts, and a light in our actions that reflects your presence



Let peace triumph over fear, and love triumph over hatred, and let our hope in you be stronger than all pain
