Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Light of the world


Whoever follows You will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life


Shine Your heavenly light upon our hearts, enlighten our minds, and guide our steps in the way of truth and love


Drive away every fear, doubt, and discouragement, and fill us with the hope that never fails


Grant us the light of wisdom to know Your will, the light of grace to remain faithful to Your commandments, and the light of mercy to forgive those who have wronged us, just as You forgive us


Make us living witnesses of Your light in this world, spreading peace, sowing love, comforting the weary, and bringing hope to the brokenhearted


Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints, keep us always in the light of Your presence until we come to share in Your eternal glory


For You are worthy of all glory, honor, and worship, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever
