Lord Jesus, on this holy night, the night of Your glorious birth, we stand before You with hearts longing for Your presence, like the shepherds who kept watch, and like the Magi who followed the star
You who chose the manger as Your way to us, enter our homes, enter our hearts, enter our lives. Turn our fears into peace, our weariness into hope, and make our night a new dawn
Teach us to be always ready to welcome You, not only with outward decorations, but with watchful hearts and souls open to Your love
On this night we say to You
we are here, Lord—dwell within us, never leave us, for You are our light, our joy, and our salvation
