Lord Jesus, just as You entered the house of Zacchaeus the tax collector and granted him the grace of repentance and renewal, come today into my home and into my heart
At times I hide behind my weaknesses and sins, like Zacchaeus who climbed the sycamore tree, yet I long for You to lift Your gaze upon me and call me by name
Purify my life from greed and from all that keeps me away from You, and give me the courage to make amends, to restore the love I have withheld, and to bring peace to those I have hurt by words or actions
As You declared that salvation entered Zacchaeus’ house, I proclaim today that Your presence is my salvation, my joy, and my peace
