we thank You for Your saint, Simeon the Younger Stylite, who chose to lift his heart and life above the earth, becoming a living sign of steadfast faith and unceasing communion with You
Teach us, O Lord, to rise above the desires of this world, and to remain firm in love and prayer even in the midst of trials
