Holy Virgin Mary, on this blessed day of your Nativity, we lift our hearts in gratitude to God, who filled the world with your pure light and prepared you to be the Mother of our Savior, Jesus Christ
Grant us, O Mother, a humble heart like yours, and a steadfast faith that follows your obedience to God’s word
Teach us to live in love and to spread joy wherever we go, just as you brought us the joy of salvation
