Lord Jesus Christ, my God and my Savior, You who are true Love and the source of every good gift, I stand before You with a humble heart, asking You to teach me the more excellent way



the way of love that pleases You and brings joy to Your heart



Jesus, do not let me seek my own glory through my gifts, boast in my knowledge, or become proud of the graces I have received from You


Remind me always that every gift without love becomes a sound without life, and that every deed, however great it may appear, loses its beauty when it is emptied of Your love



Teach me to love with patience, to forgive wholeheartedly, to serve with joy, and to bear the weaknesses of others with compassion, without judging them or placing myself above them


Help me rejoice in the truth, reject falsehood, and always seek peace and reconciliation



Lord, cleanse my heart of pride, vanity, and the desire for human praise


Do not let me strive merely to appear righteous in the eyes of others


Instead, help me remain sincere before You and serve quietly, with a heart that loves You and seeks Your will



Jesus, make Your love my life, the measure of my thoughts, and the motivation behind my actions


When You grant me a gift, teach me to use it in the service of my brothers and sisters 


When You give me knowledge, make it a path toward wisdom and humility


And when You place a weary soul along my path, open my heart to that person, so that they may encounter something of Your tenderness through me



Lord, You have taught us that love is patient and kind, that it does not seek its own interests, and that it never fails


Keep me steadfast in Your love, until my life becomes a hymn of thanksgiving to You and my actions become a silent witness to Your presence within my heart



Lord, I do not ask to be the greatest in the eyes of the world, but to become more loving in Your sight


For love is the greatest of all gifts


Through love, I draw closer to Your heart, and through love, I bear witness to the world that You are Love



To You be glory, thanksgiving, and worship, O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever and unto the ages of ages
