Good and gracious Lord, I place my life before You with all its joys and challenges

You know my weakness and my need, and You also know my deep longing to belong entirely to You

Purify my heart with Your love, strengthen me with Your Holy Spirit, and grant me wisdom in every decision

Teach me always to seek Your will, and to be an instrument of peace and goodness in the world

In You alone I find meaning, and with You alone I can live in truth
