O Lord Jesus Christ, you who entered the Temple as a Child, and were held in the arms of righteous Simeon, filling his heart with the joy of salvation


We come to You today, not carrying candles alone, but hearts longing to be enlightened by Your light


Enter, O Lord, the temple of our souls


Cleanse us from every darkness, and make us a dwelling place for Your peace


As You are the Light of the nations, be the light of our paths, the guide of our steps, and the hope in our difficult days


With Simeon we proclaim

Now You let Your servant depart in peace, for our eyes have seen Your salvation


To You be glory and praise, now and forever
