Lord of light and wisdom, we stand before You on this holy feast, remembering Your saint Ephrem, who turned words into prayer, silence into praise, and tears into a path leading to You
Fill our hearts with the spirit of humility he carried
Teach us to see our own faults before judging the weakness of others
Purify our tongues like sacred hymns, simplify our thoughts like a child’s heart, and make our lives a song of love that glorifies You at all times and in every place
Through the intercession of Saint Ephrem the Syrian, keep us in the light of Your Word, root us in the joy of repentance, and make us witnesses to Your beauty in the world
