My beloved lord, in the noise of life and the rush of days, my soul still searches for you, as a thirsty heart longs for living water


You know the depths within me, and you hear the heartbeats that words cannot explain


Sometimes i smile before people, yet my heart still longs for a touch from you, for a light that calms my fears, and for a presence that fills my emptiness


Jesus, let my heart be attached to heaven, not weighed down by the worries of earth


Teach me to trust you when answers are delayed, and to believe in your love even in difficult moments


If i grow weak, strengthen me


If i become weary, carry me


And if my heart drifts away, bring me back to you with your gentleness


May every heartbeat within me become a hymn rising toward you, and may every day draw me closer to your heart
