Lord Jesus Christ, king of Peace and Savior of the world, in this holy season of Lent we lift our hearts to You with repentance and hope


We confess that we have often strayed from Your way and loved the things of this world more than Your will


Forgive our sins and renew our hearts by the grace of Your Holy Spirit


Lord, we place before you our country, Lebanon, with all its wounds, struggles, and the suffering of its people


Look upon it with Your mercy and send upon it the peace that surpasses all understanding


Extinguish the fire of division and hostility, and plant in the hearts of its children the spirit of love and reconciliation


Make us instruments of your peace and lights in this land that You love


During this Lenten journey, teach us to fast from evil, to hunger for righteousness, and to thirst for Your Kingdom


May this season become a time of return to You, a time of healing for our hearts, and the beginning of a new peace in Lebanon


To You be glory and thanksgiving forever
