Heavenly Father, You who know the deepest places of my heart and hear the sighs of my soul before my lips can speak, I stand before You today with everything I carry within me


I open the doors of my heart to You, because I know that I will never find true rest except in Your presence



My Lord and my God, how often I spend my time searching for You in distant places, among the events and distractions of life, forgetting that You are closer to me than my very breath! How often I listen to the voices of the world and forget to listen to Your gentle whisper within my soul



Beloved Jesus, I do not seek You because I do not know You, but because I long to know You more deeply, to love You more completely, and to live with You with a heart that never turns away


I want to discover You in every detail of my life: in my joy and sorrow, in my strength and weakness, in my waiting and my weariness



Lord, enter the places within me that no one else can see


Enter the wounds I hide, the questions for which I have no answers, and the dreams I am afraid of losing


Touch everything that needs Your healing, and let Your truth reach every corner where I hide from reality



Teach me to find You in silence, to recognize You in the face of the weary, to hear Your call in the voice of those in need, and to see Your hand at work even in moments when I cannot understand Your ways



Jesus, do not allow my heart to become occupied with things that fill my eyes but leave my soul empty 


Do not let me search for passing happiness while forgetting the joy that comes from being united with You


Give me a heart that can distinguish what lasts from what fades, and that chooses Your love above everything else



When I lose my way, be my path. When I grow weak, be my strength 


When life closes its doors before me, be the door through which I enter into Your peace 


And whenever I feel distant from You, remind me that Your love never changes and that Your arms are always open to those who return to You



Beloved Father, I do not ask You to fulfill everything I desire, but to place within my heart what You desire for me


I do not ask for a life without difficulties, but for the grace never to face any difficulty without You


I want You to be the center of my life, the source of my strength, and the secret of my peace



Each time I lift my heart to You, I ask You to make me more like Your Son, Jesus: in His humility, His gentleness, His mercy, and His boundless love



Jesus, deep within my heart, I seek You


And I know that You are also seeking me with a love that never grows weary, waiting for me with a mercy that never ends



Do not let me be satisfied with simply knowing about You 


Teach me to live with You, to remain in You, and to make my heart a lasting dwelling place for Your presence



I love You, my Lord, and I surrender to You everything I am and everything I shall become


For in You I find the meaning of my existence, and in Your love I find the home beyond which my soul longs for nothing more



Through the intercession of Your Blessed Mother, the Virgin Mary, accompany me on this journey of seeking Your face, until the day I meet You, behold You as You truly are, and remain with You forever
