Lord our God, on this day you have made holy by your Resurrection, we come before You not as strangers, but as children invited into Your presence
We place into Your hands our entire week
its joys and its weariness, its successes and its disappointments
We offer You our hearts as they are, without masks and without pretense
Speak to us through Your living Word
Let it be light for our steps, healing for our wounds, and strength to reorder our lives according to Your will
Teach us on this Sunday when to rest in You, and when to go forth to serve with love, so that we may be witnesses of Your Resurrection in our homes, in our work, and wherever You send us
