O Jesus Crucified, Son of the Living God, I stand before Your holy Cross and lift my heart to You, asking You to open my eyes to see You with deeper faith and to fill my soul with Your boundless love



My Lord, how many times have I looked at the Cross without understanding the depth of Your love


How many times have I heard Your words without recognizing Your voice deep within my heart! Forgive my spiritual blindness and remove from me the veil of sin and pride, so that I may know You as the loving God who gave Himself unto death for my salvation



I remember Saint Longinus, the centurion, whose name is associated with Your Cross and with bearing witness to You


After witnessing the events surrounding Your Crucifixion, he proclaimed his faith, saying


Truly this man was the Son of God



O Jesus, just as Your truth enlightened the heart of Longinus, enlighten my heart as well


Transform my doubt into faith, my fear into courage, and my silence into a sincere testimony to Your love



My Lord, do not let me merely gaze upon Your Cross


Teach me to carry my own cross with love and patience, to forgive those who hurt me, to love those who need love, and to bear witness to You through my actions before my words



O Saint Longinus, witness to Christ Crucified, intercede for me before the Lord, that I may receive the grace of steadfast faith, a humble heart, and the courage to proclaim the truth


May I never turn away from the love of Christ when I face difficulties



O Jesus Crucified, open my eyes to recognize Your presence in those who suffer, my hands to serve those in need, and my heart to bring Your peace to everyone I meet



And when my path becomes difficult, remind me that Your Cross is not the end of life, but the way that leads to the Resurrection and glory 


When my strength grows weak, sustain me with Your grace and make me faithful to You until my final breath



To You, O Jesus Crucified and Risen from the dead, be all glory, honor, and praise, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever
