In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen



Lord Jesus Christ, We come before You with hearts in need of Your mercy, for we often ask You to forgive us while finding it difficult to forgive those who have hurt us



You loved us to the very end and lifted the burden of our sins 


Teach us to forgive from the depths of our hearts, and to surrender every resentment, anger, and bitterness into Your loving hands



Grant us the grace of humility, that we may always remember the greatness of Your mercy toward us


Help us never to close our hearts to our brothers and sisters, but to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to love as You have loved us



Fill our hearts with Your peace, and make us instruments of reconciliation and love, so that our lives may bear witness that Your mercy is greater than every offense, and that forgiveness opens the way to renewed hope



We also pray for Your Holy Church, for our Holy Father the Pope, for all bishops, priests, deacons, religious men and women


Strengthen them in their ministry and make them faithful witnesses of Your mercy and love



Remember also the sick, the suffering, the sorrowful, and all who seek Your help


Visit them with Your consolation, and grant them Your peace and hope



For Yours is all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever
