O God of truth and justice, just as You called Your prophet Amos to proclaim truth amid injustice, make us also witnesses of Your justice in this troubled world

Cleanse our hearts from complacency and indifference, and never let us be silent in the face of evil and sin

Teach us to seek justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with You

Lord, may the cry of the oppressed reach our hearts, and may our eyes be opened to see Your face in every needy and suffering person

Through the intercession of the prophet Amos, grant us courage to defend the voiceless

And to live according to Your commandments, working for Your Kingdom, where justice reigns and truth is lifted high
