Teach us to be voices, not echoes, to speak the truth with courage, even in the wilderness, and to prepare the way in our hearts before we prepare it with words
Break within us every pride that blocks Your presence, wash us with the water of sincere repentance, that we may decrease and You may increase in us
Lord, give us a heart that stands at the threshold, not clinging to the past nor fearing what is new, but bearing witness to the Light, even before seeing it fully
Make our lives a finger that points to You, a voice that owns nothing but truth, and a living testimony that You are the One who comes, who is present, and who never disappoints those who wait
