لَقَدِ افْتَدانَا السَّيِّدُ المَسِيحُ بِدِمَائِهِ المُقَدَّسَةِ عَلَى صَليبٍ خَشَبِيٍّ كَانَ رَمْزَ عارٍ، وَهُوَ رَمْزُ جَهالَةٍ عِنْدَ الهالِكِينَ… وَصارَ رَمْزَنَا وَفَخْرَنَا وَجِسْرَ عُبُورِنَا مِنَ الأَرْضِ إِلَى المَلَكُوتِ، وَطَنِ القِدِّيسِينَ.


تَرْنُو قُلُوبُنَا إِلَى رُؤْيَةِ صَليبٍ ضَخْمٍ يَرْتَفِعُ فِي قَلْبِ لُبْنان، فِي بَيْروتَ الَّتِي قامَتْ مِنْ تَحْتِ رُكامِها وَأَنْقاضِها وَنارِها وَدُخانِها لِتَحْيا مِنْ جَدِيد…

لِذٰلِكَ، وَلِأَنَّنا أَبْناءُ الحَياةِ الَّتِي تَليقُ بِنَا وَنَليقُ بِها… نَدْعُو نُوّابَ وَتُجّارَ وَأَثْرِياءَ بَيْروتَ تَحْدِيدًا، بَلْ كُلَّ النُّوّابِ المَسِيحِيِّينَ وَكُلَّ المُؤْمِنِينَ المَسِيحِيِّينَ وَكُلَّ مَنْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَتَبَرَّعَ بِجُهْدِهِ وَمالِهِ، إِلَى الِاتِّحادِ تَحْتَ لِواءِ مَشْروعِ بِنَاءِ صَليبٍ مَعْدَنِيٍّ عِمْلاقٍ فِي وَسَطِ بَيْروت، يُضاءُ لَيْلًا فَيَكُونَ مَنارَةَ المَنارَات، عَلَى أَنْ يَحْمِلَ جُمْلَةً قالَها السَّيِّدُ المَسِيحُ فادِينَا وَمُخَلِّصُنَا: «أَنا نُورُ العالَمِ»، وَيَرْتَفِعَ عالِيًا فَوْقَ أَعْلى بُرْجٍ مَبْنِيٍّ فِي عاصِمَتِنَا وَباقِي مُدُنِنَا… كَيْفَ لا وَهُوَ الأَعْلى مِنْ كُلِّ عُلُوّ!

إِنَّهُ المَشْروعُ المُقَدَّسُ الَّذِي يَجِبُ أَنْ نُنَفِّذَهُ مَعًا بَعْدَ تَأْمِينِ المَكانِ الِاسْتراتِيجِيِّ المُناسِبِ وَالمَالِ اللازِمِ وَكُلِّ التَّرْتِيباتِ لِتَحْقيقِ هٰذا الحُلُم.


هَلُمُّوا نَتَعاوَنُ وَنَعْمَلُ بِمَحَبَّةٍ وَإِخْلاصٍ وَإِيمانٍ وَرَجاءٍ، وَنَشْهَدْ لِمَسِيحِنَا الحَيِّ مَلِكِ المُلُوك، فادِي البَشَرِيَّةِ جَمِيعًا، وَنَرْفَعْ قُلُوبَنَا وَعُقُولَنَا وَسَواعِدَنَا وَعُيُونَنَا نَحْوَهُ مُسْتَلْهِمِينَ الرُّوحَ القُدُسَ الَّذِي يُساعِدُنا وَيُفَعِّلُ مَواهِبَنَا وَيُغْدِقُ عَلَيْنَا نِعَمَهُ لِمَجْدِ اللهِ القُدُّوس.


الصَّليبُ عَلامَةُ خَلاصِنَا وَانْتِصارِنَا وَحُرِّيَّتِنَا وَقِيامَتِنَا.


هَلُمُّوا نَرْفَعْهُ فِي وَسَطِ بَيْروتَ «أُمِّ الشَّرائِع»… وَنَحْنُ نَلْتَزِمُ شَريعَةَ مَسِيحِنَا… شَريعَةَ المَحَبَّة!

Our Lord Jesus Christ redeemed us with His holy blood on a wooden cross, a symbol of shame, and a symbol of foolishness to the perishing... It has become our symbol, our pride, and the bridge of our passage from earth to the kingdom, the homeland of saints


Our hearts yearn to see a huge cross rising in the heart of Lebanon, in Beirut, which rose from the rubble, ruins, fire, and smoke to live again... Therefore, because we are children of life, which is worthy of us and we are worthy of it... We call on the deputies, merchants, and wealthy people of Beirut specifically, all Christian deputies, all Christian believers, and anyone who wishes to contribute with effort and money, to unite under the banner of the project to build a giant metal cross in the center of Beirut, lit at night, to be a beacon of beacons, carrying the phrase said by our Lord Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer: "I am the light of the world", and rising high above the highest tower built in our capital and other cities... How can it not be, when He is the highest of all heights



This is the holy project that we must implement together, after securing the appropriate strategic location, the necessary funds, and all arrangements to make this dream come true


Come, let us cooperate and work with love, sincerity, faith, and hope, and testify to our living Christ, the King of kings, the Redeemer of all humanity, and raise our hearts, minds, arms, and eyes to Him, inspired by the Holy Spirit, who helps us, activates our talents, and showers us with His graces, for the glory of the Holy God



The cross is the sign of our salvation, victory, freedom, and resurrection


Come, let us raise it in the center of Beirut, "the mother of laws"... and we commit to the law of our Christ... the law of love
