My Lord and my God, in the midst of this day’s noise, I come to You with a heart weary yet longing

You know all that is within me and understand my silence before my words

I place in Your hands all that this day has held

My successes and failures, my joys and fears, my prayers and my stillness

Purify me by Your grace,

And quench my thirst for peace with Your living presence within me

Jesus, teach me to see You in all that happens,

To choose You in every decision, and to love as You have loved — even unto the cross

Walk with me through the rest of this day, never let me walk alone, for You are my only hope, now and forever
